As a reputable hotel, Crescent focuses on maintaining high standards in all aspects of its operations, including guest relations, facility management, food and beverage services, and safety compliance. The hotel environment requires a robust leadership presence to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold guest satisfaction, and foster a collaborative work culture amongst the staff. Crescent prides itself on a team-oriented atmosphere where every associate acts as a guest relations ambassador, emphasizing professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to excellence throughout every level of customer interaction. This role demands an eye for detail in monitoring product quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring that food served is consistently appealing and prepared to exact guest specifications. Additionally, this role involves managing inventory forecast and supplies to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked with essential items such as linen, glassware, silverware, china, and condiments to facilitate seamless service. Strict adherence to all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages is mandatory to ensure compliance and safety. The incumbent will be actively involved in marketing efforts, including creating menu ideas, surveying competition, reporting on food trends, and assisting in the preparation of specials to keep the restaurant competitive and relevant. Strong communication skills are a must for this leadership position, with an emphasis on clear verbal and written directives to staff. Attendance and punctuality are also critical to maintain an efficient operation. Beyond the core responsibilities, the individual may be required to perform additional duties relevant to the job, supporting a flexible and proactive operational environment. The role demands a multifaceted skill set, encompassing technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping. Troubleshooting and repairing routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions within hotel systems and equipment is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential safety hazards and security issues in the hotel, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both guests and associates. At Crescent, maintaining a consistent guest experience is paramount. The selected candidate will contribute directly to this goal by embodying professionalism, fostering positive interactions with guests and associates, and upholding the hotel's reputation for excellence.
