Job Description
This position is for a Dining Room Manager at a prestigious, upscale restaurant located in Charlotte, North Carolina, part of the renowned Eddie V's restaurant group. Eddie V's is known for its fine dining experience, exceptional cuisine, and commitment to providing an unparalleled guest experience. The company operates several high-end dining venues across the United States and is a part of the larger Darden Restaurants family, which is recognized for its deep roots in hospitality and culinary excellence. With a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service, Eddie V's emphasizes a culture grounded in its core values, where leadership, team development, and operational excellence are paramount.
This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary ranging between $75,000 and $82,000 annually, with bonus potential tied to performance. The Dining Room Manager will play a critical leadership role in restaurant operations, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the dining room to ensure smooth, efficient service and an outstanding guest experience. The role demands strong operational leadership, a passion for culinary and wine knowledge, and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards. The manager is expected to build and develop a strong team, foster a welcoming environment for guests, and ensure all operational systems and procedures are followed diligently. The effectiveness of the manager will be reflected in sustained growth in both sales and profits, achieved by modeling the Darden Core Values through personal leadership, people management, business acumen, and results-focused execution.
Candidates should bring at least two years of current salaried management experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant or a high-end resort restaurant. The ideal manager demonstrates a strong passion for culinary excellence, sophisticated wine knowledge, and top-tier guest service. They should also have proven capabilities in team development and leadership, as well as a deep understanding of operational systems and methods that contribute to flawless execution. In return for their expertise and commitment, successful candidates will enjoy a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, paid family and medical leave, paid vacations, and flex days. Additional perks include competitive weekly pay, a quarterly bonus plan, flexible spending accounts, and access to dining and gift card discounts across all Darden restaurant brands such as Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Seasons 52, Yard House, and more.
This role requires the ability to commute or relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina before starting work, with both day shift (preferred) and night shift (required) availability necessary. Those who thrive in a dynamic, high-energy restaurant environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service will find this role both challenging and rewarding. The Dining Room Manager at Eddie V's Charlotte will be an integral part of a team dedicated to excellence and growth, empowered to make a significant impact on the restaurant's success and guest satisfaction.
