The position of Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is integral to daily restaurant operations and embodies the leadership that supports the Restaurant Leader. The role focuses on managing shift operations, ensuring that all restaurant zones meet Raising Cane's high standards during shifts, overseeing cash handling, and maintaining accountability. The Restaurant Manager acts as the manager on duty, responsible for both opening and closing the restaurant. This position demands a hands-on approach in a fast-paced kitchen environment, requiring considerable physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The role also involves interaction with customers and ensuring that the restaurant maintains its culture of exemplary customer service.

Restaurant Managers must stay vigilant about safety and operational procedures, working around food products, common allergens, and industrial equipment that require the use of personal protective equipment. Responsibilities include enforcing Raising Cane's policies and standards, conducting shift meetings to uphold operational and safety standards, and using various tools, forms, and logs to monitor and document shift results, taking corrective actions when necessary. They lead and direct crewmembers during shifts and utilize the company’s reward and recognition programs to motivate and engage their teams. Additionally, Restaurant Managers authorize employee functions such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides, ensuring proper management control. Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and ensuring all facilities remain in good working order are also essential components of the job.

This role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $20 to $23, dependent on location, experience, and other factors. Job Duties

  • Ensures operations meet Raising Cane's standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
  • Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurant
  • Manages cash handling and ensures accountability
  • Enforces Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • Executes shift management meeting Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
  • Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • Directs crewmembers during a shift
  • Provides exemplary customer service
  • Utilizes reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
  • Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides
  • Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working order
  • Completes other duties as assigned
