Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a rapidly growing restaurant chain specializing in serving high-quality, craveable chicken finger meals. Known for its unique and focused menu, Raising Cane's has cultivated a strong brand identity centered around its One Love philosophy. The company is proud of its vibrant crew culture and adheres to a Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy that fosters a dynamic and engaging work environment. With ambitious growth plans, Raising Cane's is on track to become one of the Top 10 restaurant brands in the United States, making it an exciting place for career advancement in the foodservice industry. The company has set an initial hiring pay range starting at $18 per hour with an additional $1 per hour late-night incentive for shifts starting after 10 pm, reflecting its commitment to fairly compensating employees based on their location, experience, and shift responsibilities.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is instrumental in supporting the overall restaurant leadership and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while upholding high standards of quality and customer service. This position requires managing shift activities including opening and closing procedures and maintaining cash handling protocols with high accountability. Working in a fast-paced environment where physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending are frequent, the Restaurant Manager must be adaptable and resilient. Interaction with customers and team members requires exemplary interpersonal skills to maintain a positive environment and meet Raising Cane's operational expectations and culture. This role also involves administrative tasks such as documentation, corrective actions, and enforcement of company policies.

Beyond operational management, the Restaurant Manager plays a key leadership role by directing crew members during shifts, holding them accountable to standards of service, safety, and cleanliness, and fostering an inclusive and motivating workplace through rewards and recognition programs. They hold the authority to approve employee functions such as discounts and time clock overrides, ensuring operational integrity and customer satisfaction remain paramount. This blend of leadership, operational oversight, and customer service defines the Restaurant Manager’s impact in helping Raising Cane's achieve its growth goals and maintain its reputation for quality and culture.

For full-time Restaurant Managers, Raising Cane's offers a wide array of benefits that focus on supporting health, financial well-being, and personal development. These benefits include medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage alongside dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts. Additional protection is provided through company-sponsored life and disability insurance as well as hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness plans. Financial benefits extend to a 401(k) plan with employer match for eligible workers, access to financial advisors, a gym membership program, tuition reimbursement, assistance programs, and pet insurance. These offerings reflect Raising Cane's comprehensive approach to employee wellness and satisfaction.

The perks and rewards complement these benefits with weekly pay cycles, competitive pay plus monthly bonuses, paid time off and sick time, and eight paid holidays annually—although some variations may exist depending on location. There are also early closures for company events, a casual dress code, and employee discount programs through Perkspot. This supportive compensation and benefit structure underscores Raising Cane's commitment to attracting, retaining, and rewarding talented individuals who contribute to the brand's ongoing success and growth.
