Job Description

Olive Garden is a leading restaurant chain known for its signature Italian dining experience across the United States and Canada. With over 870 locations, Olive Garden has become a household name recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality food and an exceptional customer experience. The company is not just focused on serving great meals but also creates a culture that prioritizes quality of life for its employees, career advancement, and community involvement. Olive Garden firmly believes that "We’re All Family Here!" reflecting its core values of acceptance, support, and strength both within its teams and for its customers.

Olive Garden is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Restaurant Managers to join their dynamic teams. This role is a pivotal position responsible for leading a restaurant’s daily operations under the guidance of the General Manager. Restaurant Managers are expected to take initiative, be results-oriented, and foster strong relationships within their teams and guests. This leadership position involves driving performance through motivation and training, ensuring outstanding service delivery, and managing operational efficiency. The company offers a flexible work environment to support a healthy work-life balance, with restaurant managers typically working no more than 50 hours a week and enjoying two days off. Having one weekend off per month and up to three weeks of paid time off within the first year encourages managers to maintain their personal well-being.

The position offers a competitive base salary with quarterly bonus eligibility that varies by location. Furthermore, Olive Garden provides immediate eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, along with substantial retirement benefits that include a 401(k) match program up to 120% on the first 6% of earnings and additional company contributions. Work-life support extends to paternity and maternity leave, adoption reimbursement assistance, and paid family care time after one year of service, reflecting Olive Garden’s commitment to its employees’ total well-being.

Beyond these benefits, Restaurant Managers receive extensive training and development opportunities, with nearly all General Managers and Directors of Operations promoted internally. Tuition reimbursement and student loan support help managers further their careers within the hospitality industry. Olive Garden is deeply involved in local communities, having donated millions of pounds of food and millions of dollars in grants and support to combat hunger and assist team members during emergencies. Above all, the restaurant upholds high standards of safety and sanitation, aligning COVID-19 protocols with CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

This position is ideal for individuals who exhibit strong leadership skills, are passionate about the hospitality industry, and want to be part of a company that values family, community, and employee growth. As a Restaurant Manager at Olive Garden, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and resource-rich environment, drive your career forward, and make a positive impact every day.
