The Restaurant Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is designed for dynamic individuals passionate about both guest service and kitchen operations. This full-time position involves overseeing daily operations of both the front and back of house, ensuring the delivery of Legendary Food and Legendary Service at all times. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of hourly employees, handling recruitment, scheduling, and performance management. This role requires a hands-on approach to directing tasks, managing inventory, and maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Knowledge of point of sale and inventory management systems
  • Compliance with food safety standards and regulations

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Experience in employee recruitment and training
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
  • Review applications interviewing and hiring or recommending hourly employees
  • Direct work for employees including setting hours weekly schedules and assigning tasks before during and after open hours
  • Drive sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • Provide direct and schedule Front of House and Back of House training
  • Supervise and oversee production and preparation of food according to established recipes and procedures
  • Conduct formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Enforce appropriate security measures to maintain safety of employees and guests
  • Manage food supplies and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
  • Understand manage and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Create a safe fun and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
