The Restaurant Manager position at Park Hyatt is a pivotal leadership role specifically dedicated to overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional service standards within The Living Room, a signature outlet famed for its luxurious atmosphere and attentive guest care. The Restaurant Manager works in close partnership with the Director of Operations, Food & Beverage leadership team, and other hotel departments to ensure that every operational aspect aligns with Park Hyatt’s high standards and brand philosophy. This role encompasses overseeing all facets of The Living Room’s success: guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, financial performance, and operational excellence.
In this role, the Restaurant Manager is tasked with strategic planning for short- and long-term operational initiatives, cultivating a culture of luxury hospitality through anticipatory and personalized service, and supporting broader Food & Beverage department goals. They are also responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team of colleagues, continually inspiring and coaching to elevate service levels and engagement metrics. The role requires a visible and active presence within the outlet to maintain professionalism, energy, and a relentless commitment to service excellence. Moreover, the manager plans and executes special events, seasonal activations, and holiday programs, always driving initiatives that enhance revenue generation, guest loyalty, and cost management. Job Requirements

- 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or hospitality environment
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing service teams
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering personalized guest experiences
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
- Professional presence with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or hospitality environment
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing service teams
- Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory controls, and departmental financial performance preferred
- Luxury hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering personalized guest experiences
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Lead and manage the daily operations of The Living Room, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence
- Partner closely with the Director of Operations and fellow Food & Beverage leaders to drive service, quality, and financial results
- Foster a culture of luxury hospitality by ensuring personalized, anticipatory service that reflects the Park Hyatt brand
- Support F&B operations and other Food & Beverage initiatives as needed
- Responsible for short- and long-term planning of assigned outlet operations
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain high-performing colleagues while creating opportunities for growth and advancement
- Lead, coach, and inspire colleagues to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and employee engagement results
