Job Description

Cracker Barrel is a renowned American restaurant and gift store chain that has been delighting guests since 1969. With a rich history and commitment to hospitality, Cracker Barrel has grown to encompass over 70,000 team members nationwide. The brand is deeply rooted in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy delicious, homestyle meals, shop for unique gifts and home décor, and feel right at home. The company emphasizes a warm, country-style ambiance that fosters connection and community, making it more than just a place to eat — it is a gathering spot for families and friends to enjoy good food and good company. Cracker Barrel's commitment to quality and service has made it a beloved institution across the United States, known for its Southern-inspired menu and nostalgic retail offerings.

The role of a Restaurant Manager at Cracker Barrel is vital to maintaining the company’s high standards of hospitality and operational excellence. This position is both challenging and rewarding, requiring a leader who not only manages the day-to-day restaurant operations but also inspires and develops a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will be key in coaching and supporting team members, managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety and other regulatory standards. The focus on creating memorable moments for guests and employees alike means that you will be at the forefront of fostering a culture where hospitality and teamwork are prioritized.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a pay range between $19.23 and $23.53 per hour. You will work approximately 50 hours per week, often in five 10-hour shifts, which may include holidays and weekends. The role demands strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain composure during busy periods. At Cracker Barrel, the Restaurant Manager role is about being the heart of the restaurant, combining operational oversight with people-first leadership. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where you lead by example, drive team success, and ensure a high-quality guest experience, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a company that values internal promotion and professional development. With Cracker Barrel's supportive work culture, competitive pay, extensive benefits, and focus on employee growth, this role is ideal for a passionate leader committed to making every guest visit special and every team member feel valued.
