Job Description
Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is a well-established full-service restaurant chain known for delivering scratch-made food at affordable prices in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. This company takes pride in serving high-quality meals crafted from scratch, ensuring each guest has an exceptional dining experience that feels personalized and genuine. Cheddar's emphasizes not just the food quality but also creating a culture of hospitality and teamwork, making it an appealing place for both customers and employees. The company operates numerous locations, and pay for this managerial position may vary by location, reflecting local market conditions and standards.
As a Cheddar's Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the success of the restaurant by fostering an environment where employees are inspired to bring their best every day. Your leadership will be foundational to cultivating a team atmosphere built on respect, high standards, and accountability. You will be responsible for managing every facet of the business, from increasing sales and ensuring outstanding service to maintaining high profitability through careful oversight of operations. This includes managing food quality, training, safety and sanitation standards, and facilities management. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a manager who can effectively lead a diverse team, maintain a safe working environment, and consistently deliver superior guest experiences.
Your impact will extend beyond the day-to-day operations; you will be instrumental in developing and coaching team members, creating a culture where employees feel valued and motivated. Cheddar's takes a people-first approach, and as the manager, your leadership should reflect this by encouraging a supportive and inclusive workplace. The position comes with competitive compensation that includes a weekly pay structure and the potential for quarterly bonuses, rewarding your efficiency and success. Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and flex days, is also part of the benefits package, allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively.
Additionally, you can expect flexible work schedules to accommodate life outside of work, which indicates the company’s commitment to employee well-being. Day-one health and wealth benefits further demonstrate Cheddar's investment in its team's long-term success and security. Perks such as dining discounts add to the appeal of working at Cheddar's, offering you the chance to enjoy some of the restaurant's signature dishes like their popular Honey Butter Croissants.
Career advancement is also a major focus, with clear pathways for growth and success within the company. If you are driven, passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, and capable of managing both people and operations, Cheddar's provides a great platform to advance your career in the hospitality and restaurant management industry. This role will challenge and reward you while giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the workplace and for every guest stepping through the door.
