The Assistant Manager role at Bob Evans is a fast-paced, dynamic leadership position that supports daily restaurant operations and staff management while driving the achievement of sales goals and restaurant profitability. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of restaurant employees in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The Assistant Manager oversees the recruitment, training, and development of team members, ensuring that they deliver outstanding guest service and maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring employees, fostering a positive work environment, and modeling professional behavior that encourages the team to perform their best.

Additional duties involve supporting marketing programs, driving sales through suggestive selling and effective table management, and handling guest relations to resolve any issues with food quality or service satisfaction. The Assistant Manager monitors operational performance including food quality, cleanliness, safety compliance, cost control, cash handling, labor scheduling, and inventory management, all to maintain a high standard of restaurant profitability and guest experience. Job Requirements
