With an ongoing expansion into new markets and the opening of new stores, Angie’s is seeking experienced Store Managers to join their team. These managers will be essential in ensuring operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth trajectory while adhering to its mission of customer satisfaction and food quality.

The Store Manager role at Angie’s Food Concepts is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations. This role requires an independent operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment but benefits from the dedicated support provided by Angie’s best-in-class store support team. The manager’s primary focus includes staffing, labor management, scheduling, inventory control, and upholding exemplary customer service standards. They must communicate effectively with their team and customers, handle customer complaints professionally, and supervise and mentor team members to develop future store leaders. The role also includes strict adherence to all food safety standards and operational protocols, which ensures that every product served meets Angie’s quality standards. Additionally, Store Managers must be cross-trained across all positions, including opening and closing responsibilities, and must be proficient in operating all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. This position demands stamina and dedication, with work hours exceeding 50 hours per week that involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain continuous store operation.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. The candidate must have prior experience leading teams in food and beverage or retail settings for a minimum of two years and must be proficient in managing key performance indicators such as food cost, labor efficiency, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Mentoring and coaching employees to build the next generation of store leaders is an essential aspect of the role. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for leadership, a commitment to serving both customers and staff, and a drive to achieve excellence. Practical requirements include strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations, the ability to multitask and adapt to feedback, the physical stamina to stand for extended periods, and the capability to lift over 40 pounds safely in-store.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work 50+ hours per week including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs. at the store

Job Qualifications

  • Two years prior experience leading teams in food and beverage or retail

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the store including labor, scheduling, and inventory
