Job Description
Cracker Barrel is a beloved American restaurant and retail chain that has been welcoming guests since its inception in 1969. Known for its warm hospitality and Southern-inspired comfort food, Cracker Barrel offers more than just a meal—it creates a community experience where guests feel at home and valued. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, the company prides itself on its heritage of delivering exceptional service and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. The organization is deeply committed to nurturing its employees and ensuring that the workplace culture reflects the same warmth and care that guests experience.
The role of a Cracker Barrel Restaurant Manager is central to maintaining and elevating this renowned guest experience. As a Restaurant Manager, you are not just managing a restaurant; you are leading a team and shaping an environment where both employees and guests feel valued and supported. This role demands a blend of operational expertise and compassionate leadership. From overseeing front-of-house to back-of-house operations, you ensure that every aspect of the restaurant runs smoothly, from inventory management to kitchen flow and guest service. Your leadership directly impacts how the team interacts with guests and how efficiently the restaurant operates.
In this role, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, helping them grow professionally while nurturing a culture rooted in country hospitality. You will be empowered with the tools, training, and resources needed to lead by example and inspire your team. Cracker Barrel values leaders who thrive under pressure, who can manage busy shifts with calm and confidence, and who believe in fostering a people-first approach to leadership. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of successful restaurant management experience, including at least one year with Cracker Barrel, and be willing to work a demanding schedule of 50 hours per week, including holidays and weekends, to ensure operational excellence.
This full-time position not only offers the opportunity to lead within an iconic brand but also provides competitive benefits and pay designed to support your personal and professional growth. If you are passionate about hospitality, team leadership, and delivering memorable dining experiences, Cracker Barrel invites you to join their team and be part of a company that truly values good company and good people.
