Job Description
Asia Live is an exciting new venture set to open in spring 2026 at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. As the first in a series of expansions from the renowned China Live San Francisco, Asia Live promises to bring a vibrant and authentic Asian dining experience to the area. This 12,000 square-foot restaurant complex features an open kitchen design, offering guests the unique opportunity to witness the culinary action firsthand. Asia Live specializes in delivering both traditional and modern Asian cuisine, inspired by diverse flavors from across the continent. Committed to excellence, the establishment emphasizes high-quality ingredients, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere to create memorable dining experiences for all patrons.
The role of Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is a dynamic and pivotal position within the organization. This full-time opportunity involves overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-standard service delivery. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for leading a diverse team, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. With a focus on both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations, the manager will coordinate daily activities including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, vendor relations, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
A central part of this role is maintaining the authenticity and presentation standards that define Asia Live's culinary offerings. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, a passion for Asian cuisine, and robust experience in managing high-volume dining environments. The ability to foster a positive, culturally respectful workplace atmosphere is also essential, as is the capability to develop marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers. Familiarity with managing budgets, tracking sales performance, and controlling food and labor costs will be critical for success.
Asia Live offers a vibrant, team-oriented culture where innovation meets tradition, and where excellence in dining is not just a goal but a standard. Candidates who are proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction will find this role both challenging and rewarding. The position calls for flexibility, with availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays typical of the hospitality industry. Those with experience in Asian culinary traditions, multilingual abilities, and skills in vendor negotiation and cost control will have a distinct advantage. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and experienced restaurant professional to become part of a growing and influential brand in the Silicon Valley food scene.
