The Manager role at Bonefish Grill is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) functions in the restaurant. This includes maintaining the restaurant’s appearance and presentation, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and providing professional leadership to the team. Operating with limited supervision, the Manager is tasked with driving performance standards and fostering a positive work environment. This position involves strategic staffing responsibilities such as scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring to align with Bonefish Grill’s high employment quality standards. Additionally, the Manager actively supports the career growth of hourly team members, emphasizing personal and professional development within the organization.

Safety and compliance are critical components of this role; the Manager will implement effective security protocols to protect both employees and guests while adhering strictly to operational, safety, and sanitation standards. This includes ensuring all health inspections meet or exceed state requirements and complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Guest relations are equally important, with the Manager responding to feedback and cultivating loyalty by setting exemplary service standards. A thorough knowledge of the entire menu and food preparation standards is essential, enabling the Manager to lead by example and engage meaningfully with both staff and patrons.

Job Requirements

  • one year previous restaurant management experience
  • able and willing to work a flexible schedule
  • minimum age 21 years

Job Qualifications

  • one year previous restaurant management experience
  • experience in full service restaurant management including bar preferred
  • certification in food safety preferred
  • willingness to relocate within the assigned region preferred
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
