Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to manage multiple outlets such as restaurant, room service, and bar
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation and beverage service
  • Ability to maintain health and safety standards
  • Proficiency in inventory management
  • Must meet minimum age requirements per jurisdiction
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Ability to work full time hours
  • Willingness to participate in company-required meetings and training

Job Qualifications

  • Read, write and speak English
  • Prefer two to three years of fine dining experience
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Previous supervisory/management skills and experience
  • Requires 8th grade math level
  • Requires high school reasoning level
  • Requires 12th grade language use level
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed standards
  • Ensure consistency of product and service
  • Maintain wine inventory
  • Maintain work areas clean and organized
  • Maintain working knowledge of all restaurant positions, food preparation, cocktail service and wine inventory
  • Promote employee empowerment
  • Promote repeat customer service through establishing quality service and food
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Select, train, supervise, develop, discipline and counsel employees in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
  • Perform in the capacity of any position supervised
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Deal with guest complaints or requests
  • Monitor reservations
  • Report on restaurant status to Food & Beverage Director weekly
