Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Two years of experience as a manager
  • College degree in a related field preferred
  • Flexible schedule requiring availability nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good longevity in current and past positions
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, typically 10-20 lbs
  • Ability to reach up to 6 feet, typically 2-4 feet
  • Ability to navigate aisles and spaces as small as 12 inches

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in a related field such as business or hotel and restaurant management preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members

Job Duties

  • Oversees the daily operations from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards
  • Oversees the flow of the business during business hours being active in all areas of the restaurant including front desk, bar/lounge, kitchen, and main dining room for the entire dining period
  • Walks the building to ensure all service areas meet company standards and makes necessary corrections
  • Manages financial operations including safe accuracy, change orders, bar banks, tip reconciliation, invoice coding, and vendor communications
  • Handles all human resource responsibilities related to crew members
  • Forecasts product needs based on inventory counts
  • Writes schedules for at least one workgroup such as servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, or supervisors
  • Participates in creative development of incentive programs and sales and marketing efforts
  • Ensures all food products meet company recipe specifications for preparation and quality
  • Coaches and recognizes crewmembers
  • Makes labor management decisions each shift
  • Participates in the interview and selection process of new crew members
