Job Requirements
- Two years of management experience in hospitality or similar industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Passion for personalized guest experiences
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to supervise and train employees
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
- Ability to work collaboratively with management and kitchen staff
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, or Culinary Management preferred
- Minimum two years of management experience in hospitality or a related industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Passion for creating and personalizing guest experiences
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Familiarity with budgeting and marketing in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of service etiquette and product knowledge
- Commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity
Job Duties
- Create an exciting and memorable dining experience for guests
- Lead and manage a knowledgeable front-of-house team
- Conduct daily evaluations of restaurant service and coordinate timely food production
- Develop liquor and wine selection and pricing strategies and supervise procurement
- Assist the General Manager in budgeting and financial planning
- Execute and improve annual marketing plans to meet financial targets
- Control costs focusing on sales and payroll
- Provide communication and training to management and staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations through the Kimpton Check-In
- Implement ongoing training programs for new and existing employees
- Ensure daily cleanliness of the restaurant
- Supervise non-supervisory service employees
- Adhere to organizational policies and applicable laws in supervisory responsibilities
- Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, appraise, reward, coach employees and handle complaints
