  • Minimum of three years experience in management roles
  • Food Safety Manager certification
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and additional shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Working toward associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years experience as an Associate Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Job Duties

  • Overseeing restaurant operations execution and management of staff
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Managing daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Providing an exceptional guest experience through proper training and accountability for staff
  • Reviewing practices to improve the guest experience and maintaining guest interaction
  • Responding to guest concerns and complaints professionally and ensuring resolution
  • Ensuring management and crew understand and operate all systems correctly
  • Maintaining cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards according to Denny's brand
  • Developing employees' knowledge and skills through training programs and coaching
  • Directing restaurant operations to meet Denny's brand standards for food and facilities
  • Enforcing sanitary practices and security procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with employment policies and relevant regulations
  • Proactively resolving operational and employee issues with support if needed
