Our company takes pride in redefining luxury shopping by offering personalized experiences to every customer across an extensive network of stores and innovative e-commerce platforms. At the heart of Saks Global’s success is our dedicated team of talented colleagues who drive our brand forward through exceptional service, cutting-edge technology, and comprehensive luxury customer data. Together with strong partnerships from some of the world’s most esteemed luxury brands, Saks Global continues to shape the future of retail by blending tradition with modern innovation.
The Restaurant Manager role at Saks Global Restaurants is a vital leadership position responsible for championing both the operational and cultural excellence within our dining establishments. Reporting directly within a collaborative environment, this role involves maximizing the unique talents of the restaurant team and upholding impeccable luxury hospitality standards. You will lead by example to ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience while driving daily profitability and growth.
In addition to managing daily operations with precision, the Restaurant Manager plays a strategic role in collaborating with key restaurant leaders including the General Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to address operational needs and execute specialized promotional events. With responsibility for overseeing standards related to quality, ambiance, and cleanliness, this role guarantees compliance with health and safety regulations. Moreover, the Restaurant Manager will actively monitor performance metrics such as secret shop reports and health sanitation evaluations to maintain a minimum standard of excellence.
Financial leadership is another crucial aspect of this position as the Restaurant Manager reviews profit and loss reports, manages inventory, processes invoices, and assists with forecasting to protect and improve the bottom line. As a promoter of a hospitality-first mindset, this leader will also nurture associate development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management, while working closely with People Business Partners to drive talent initiatives such as onboarding, training, and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of proven hospitality management experience, preferably in a premium fine-dining or luxury high-volume setting, a four-year degree or equivalent career experience, and demonstrated leadership skills. Exceptional communication skills, a business-driven mindset, and technical proficiency with modern software and POS systems are essential. Candidates must also be physically capable of performing tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Saks Global offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance, and additional voluntary benefits. This role comes with competitive compensation reflecting geographic variations, with a salary range of $70,915 to $88,644. Our company values diversity and inclusion and provides a vibrant, dynamic workplace with opportunities for career growth and advancement across multiple business units.
