The Restaurant Leader role at Raising Cane's is pivotal to operational success and driving the restaurant’s financial performance. This leadership position entails setting strategic direction, maintaining operational standards, and fostering a culture that reflects Raising Cane's values. The Restaurant Leader is responsible for managing all facets of restaurant operations, including staff development, customer service excellence, and profit growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can successfully balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, both inside the kitchen and front of house. Candidates must be adaptable to variable working conditions that include physical exertion, exposure to common allergens, and use of personal protective equipment.
As a Restaurant Leader, you will direct and develop management-level crewmembers, oversee hiring and termination decisions, create and manage work schedules, and handle payroll processes. You will act as manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and operational protocols. Monitoring profit and loss statements and adjusting strategies to enhance financial performance are essential parts of this role. Leadership also includes enforcing Raising Cane's policies, deploying crew effectively during shifts, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, and achieving high standards in crewmember training and operational performance metrics.

Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- possess a valid driver's license
- able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities
- self-driven, flexible and highly energetic
- able to measure performance subjectively and objectively
- able to manage public dealings professionally consistent with company policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- new restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience preferred
- proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- able to work effectively independently and collaboratively
- strong problem-solving and goal-setting abilities
- high level of emotional intelligence
Job Duties
