Job Description

The hiring organization is a reputable hospitality establishment specializing in food and beverage services. Known for its commitment to excellent customer service and maintaining high standards in the dining experience, the company prides itself on creating a welcoming and orderly environment for its members and guests. This hospitality company operates in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, focusing on delivering exceptional dining services while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety protocols are rigorously followed. With a dedication to quality and professionalism, the organization offers a work environment that values teamwork, communication, and attentiveness to detail, contributing significantly to the overall guest experience and satisfaction. The establishment employs a range of staff dedicated to various aspects of hospitality, including management, food service, and guest relations, working together to maintain the venue's reputation as a preferred destination for dining and social gatherings. They offer an hourly wage compensation of $15.00, with pay distributed on a bi-weekly basis, accommodating varied schedules to meet the needs of both members and staff.

The role available is for a Host, a pivotal position within the dining services team that directly impacts the initial and ongoing impressions guests receive upon entering the dining room. As a Host, the individual is responsible for greeting and seating members and guests, managing reservations, and answering phone inquiries. The position demands an employee who can maintain order and cleanliness in the dining area and who has the courtesy and interpersonal skills to suggest menu items and handle any guest complaints efficiently, relaying them to management when necessary. The Host ensures that safety, accident, and emergency policies are consistently followed, thereby contributing to a secure dining environment. An important element of the job involves coordination with other wait staff to manage available seating options effectively and assisting in clearing and resetting tables as required. Communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to engage guests warmly at both their arrival and departure. This role requires standing or sitting for extended periods, with some physical demands such as lifting between 30 to 50 pounds. There are no supervisory responsibilities attached to the role, making it ideal for candidates looking to build experience in food and beverage service without managing a team. The company emphasizes equal opportunity in employment, offering accommodations as per disability laws and utilizing an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) to ensure fair and objective candidate assessment. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with people and want to be part of a team that values excellent service and adherence to standards within a structured yet friendly hospitality environment.
