The Hospitality Manager role at Puttshack is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing daily operations at a high-volume, full-service restaurant and entertainment venue that features gaming components. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Hospitality Manager is tasked with ensuring seamless execution across multiple areas including service, bar, reception, games, and technology. This role demands exceptional operational skills, a passion for guest experience, and the ability to manage and develop hourly team members effectively.
Key responsibilities include managing controllable expenses, collaborating closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and upholding company policies and standards that drive business objectives and compliance. The Hospitality Manager is also deeply involved in hiring, training, and scheduling associates, ensuring that all side work is completed efficiently, and leading pre-shift meetings to align the team’s focus and motivate consistent performance.
An essential aspect of this position is championing a guest-centric approach by proactively handling service issues and consistently delivering the high-quality experience Puttshack is known for. Additionally, maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment for both guests and staff is paramount, including adherence to safety protocols and food safety standards.
Candidates for the Hospitality Manager role are expected to bring at least two years of managerial experience in a full-service restaurant or similar high-volume hospitality setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, financial acumen, and a results-driven mindset are critical for success. Tech-savviness and flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are also required. Preferred qualifications include hospitality degrees and certifications such as ServSafe.
Puttshack is committed to supporting its employees by offering comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage options, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, and associate discounts like free mini golf. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company where creativity, teamwork, and a love for entertainment converge to create memorable experiences for both guests and team members alike.
