The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) role at Ampler dba Taco Bell is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing high-volume restaurants with annual revenues exceeding $1.5 million. This advanced classification demands a manager who excels in leadership, operational management, and financial acumen. The RGM independently manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, shaping the culture positively and driving customer satisfaction to ensure a premier operational standard. Key responsibilities include executing effective bench planning, maintaining process discipline in profit and loss management, and ensuring adherence to core operational standards. The RGM leads a team of 10-45 employees, including Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Team Members, fostering a culture of continuous development and high engagement.

This full-time leadership position involves working various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, night shifts, and sometimes extended hours to guarantee smooth restaurant functions. The RGM plays a vital role in coaching the management team to meet and exceed performance expectations across sales, employee retention, food quality, safety, and customer service. The role also entails maintaining compliance with Corporate and Franchisee standards, managing budgets, and building a motivated workforce through recognition and career advancement opportunities. Effective communication skills, strategic decision-making, and fostering a positive team culture are indispensable for success in this role. This position reports directly to an Area Coach (AC) and collaborates extensively with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure operational excellence and a best-in-class guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Open to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • Adhere to company and city/state/US safety requirements
  • Knowledge of and compliance with company and brand HR policies and practices
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous management or 2+ years customer service or fast food experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, College, or University diploma
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Basic business math and accounting skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Track record of people development
  • Reliable transportation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test
  • Safety-focused, punctual, team-oriented, respectful, and motivated

Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent customer satisfaction
