Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management
  • Proven ability to manage P&L responsibilities including cash control and inventory management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to corporate policies and health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Willingness to work a 50-hour week and manage a dynamic team

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and employee motivation
  • Experience in recruitment and talent identification
  • Ability to promote a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Familiarity with cash control, security procedures, inventory management, and labor cost oversight
  • Knowledge of corporate policies, occupational health, and food safety standards
  • Leadership skills to foster team collaboration and motivation

Job Duties

  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for top team members and shift leads
  • Develop a comprehensive training plan and mentor assistant managers, shift leaders, and team member trainers
  • Recognize and reward outstanding team member performance regularly
  • Address and resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment
  • Engage personally with customers to swiftly resolve any issues
  • Strategically schedule staff to optimize customer service
  • Analyze financial performance, manage the budget, and develop strategies to maximize profitability
