Job Description

Leeann Chin is a storied Minnesota-founded restaurant brand celebrated across the Twin Cities for its exceptional Chinese cuisine. With 45 years of operational success, Leeann Chin is recognized as an award-winning staple, frequently honored as the best in categories such as "Best Chinese Food" and "Best Takeout." The company's strong local roots have fostered a vibrant community connection and built a legacy of culinary excellence. As a leading player in the fast casual dining scene, Leeann Chin has grown steadily through a commitment to quality, innovative menus, and outstanding guest experiences. This stability and dedication to customer satisfaction have positioned Leeann Chin as a beloved dining destination in Minnesota, and the brand is now poised for an exciting expansion phase that offers significant opportunities for professional advancement and leadership development.

The role of General Manager or Assistant Manager at Leeann Chin is more than just a management position; it is an opportunity to lead a passionate team while championing a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence. These leadership positions require energetic, driven professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and who are committed to fostering exceptional guest experiences that convert customers into loyal fans. Managers at Leeann Chin are expected to lead by example, actively working alongside their team both in front-of-house and back-of-house operations to cultivate a supportive and high-performing workplace. The General Manager and Assistant Manager roles play a critical part in managing all aspects of restaurant operations including financial oversight, quality control, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Beyond daily operations, leaders at Leeann Chin serve as ambassadors for the brand within their communities, engaging in marketing initiatives and building strong local partnerships. The company invests heavily in its leadership through a comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to enable managers to succeed and grow within the organization. Managers at Leeann Chin have access to a competitive salary ranging from $48,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience, supplemented by attractive quarterly bonuses that can increase earnings by up to 20 percent. The company also offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans with a 401K match, and generous paid time off to help support work-life balance.

Working at Leeann Chin means joining a Minnesota-grown success story with a commitment to employee development and a welcoming culture. The restaurant champions work-life balance with a five-day work week and ensures that operations conclude by 9 pm, eliminating late-night shifts common in the hospitality industry. Leeann Chin values leaders who bring positivity, a passion for excellence, and a desire to cultivate raving fans. This is not just a job; it is a chance to be part of a legacy and propel your career forward in a stable, supportive, and expanding company. If you are a motivated hospitality professional with a hands-on approach and a passion for building strong teams and community engagement, Leeann Chin invites you to apply and lead their next chapter of growth and success.
