As the Restaurant General Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, managing a dynamic team and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training the best talent while fostering a culture that supports personal growth and team success. This role requires a hands-on approach in managing daily operations, from scheduling and financial analysis to customer engagement and conflict resolution. You will lead product rollouts and instill the core standards of excellence, known as CHAMPS, across your management team. Your ability to analyze performance metrics, manage budgets, and implement effective strategies will directly impact the restaurant's profitability and operational success. The role involves working a 50-hour week, with 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half, offering a balanced and rewarding work experience.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management
  • Proven ability to manage and develop teams effectively
  • Proficient in financial analysis including P&L
  • Skilled in using digital tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of restaurant maintenance programs
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives
  • Experience in staff recruitment and training
  • Ability to manage change and support change initiatives
  • Knowledge of corporate policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management

Job Duties

  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for top Team Members and Shift Leads
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive training plans for Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Member Trainers
  • Recognize and reward outstanding Team Member performance while promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Address and resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment
  • Engage personally with customers to resolve issues swiftly and ensure positive experiences
  • Strategically schedule staff to optimize customer service and lead product rollout meetings
  • Analyze financial performance, manage budget, and develop strategies to maximize profitability
  • Monitor competitor activities and implement strategies to exceed their standards including digital presence and loyalty programs
