Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report
  • Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • Required minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred
  • 3-5 years management experience required
  • Restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
  • Obtain food safety certification and manager certification
  • Ensure restaurant delivers great guest experiences
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers
  • Provide proper training, mentoring, coaching, and development to team members while holding them accountable
  • Create effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments with clear communication and adjustments as needed
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently
  • Foster a positive culture and high team morale through leadership and example
  • Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and maintaining operational standards
  • Build community relationships to increase sales and provide outstanding service
  • Control costs and losses by maintaining standards and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Conduct performance reviews for crew and assist with manager performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, guidelines, and policies
  • Maintain accurate management records
  • Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to improve profitability, sales, and guest experience
  • Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries timely and respectfully
  • Maintain flexibility to perform beyond standard role expectations
  • Ensure team safety and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Escalate concerns to supervisors appropriately
  • Perform all other duties necessary for proper restaurant operations
