The role of Restaurant General Manager is a pivotal leadership position within this KFC location. In addition to people management, the General Manager will develop comprehensive training and mentoring programs for Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Team Member Trainers. Your role includes conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment and hands-on engagement with customers to ensure satisfaction and swift resolution of issues.
Operational excellence is central to your responsibilities. You will strategically schedule staff to optimize service efficiency, coach management on KFC brand standards, and lead meetings on product rollouts to ensure smooth implementation. Financial management is another critical aspect, where you will analyze restaurant performance through profit and loss analysis, manage budgets, and implement strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality or customer experience. Staying abreast of competitor actions, including digital presence and loyalty programs, will enable you to consistently outperform in the marketplace.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience in restaurant or retail management
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in profit and loss management
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of restaurant maintenance and safety protocols
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Ability to recruit, train and develop staff

Job Qualifications
- Five years in restaurant or retail management with a strong track record in people management
- Proven ability to improve performance based on P&L analysis
- Proficient with digital tools and platforms
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Solid understanding of restaurant maintenance programs

Job Duties
- Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for top team members and shift supervisors
- Develop a comprehensive training plan, mentoring assistant managers, shift supervisors, and team member trainers
- Recognize and reward outstanding team member performance regularly
- Address and resolve conflicts promptly, maintaining a positive work environment
- Personally engage with customers, swiftly resolving any issues to ensure a positive experience
- Strategically schedule staff to optimize customer service
- Coach management team on KFC brand standards and lead product rollout meetings to ensure successful implementation
- Analyze the restaurant's financial performance, manage the budget and develop strategies to maximize profitability without compromising the customer experience
- Stay informed about competitors and aim to exceed their standards in all aspects, including digital presence and loyalty programs
