Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work a 50 plus hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • prior experience in restaurant management preferred
  • strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of applicable labor laws
  • ability to resolve customer complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • work a 50 plus hour work week including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • maintain frequent contact with the general public, business, and community organizations to enhance public relations
  • communicate with outside suppliers regarding quality supplies and restaurant equipment repairs
  • engage with Home Office personnel on relevant public policies and procedures
  • maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling in compliance with labor laws
  • supervise staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, product quality and quantity, proper equipment maintenance, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness
  • provide on-the-job training to crew employees using company training tools
  • implement and execute restaurant level financial controls including petty cash management, profit and loss statements, daily deposits, payroll, and budgeting
  • manage order and accountability of supplies to ensure quality and quantity
  • resolve customer complaints tactfully to maintain satisfaction
  • appraise subordinate performance and recognize achievements
  • prepare sales and expense projections to set challenging profit goals
  • exercise sound managerial judgment in employee relations including performance evaluations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and counseling
  • complete and maintain all required internal records and reports
  • train and develop assistant managers and manager trainees in management skills and technical knowledge
  • maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers
  • perform other duties as assigned
