Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior management experience in the quick-service restaurant industry preferred
  • Ability to work a 50+ hour work week including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with financial management and operational controls
  • Ability to manage and train staff effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Work a 50+ hour work week including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Maintain frequent contact with the general public, businesses, and community organizations to enhance public relations
  • Communicate with vendors regarding quality supplies and equipment repairs
  • Coordinate with Home Office personnel on policies and procedures
  • Maintain staffing levels through hiring and scheduling
  • Supervise staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Provide on-the-job training to crew employees using company tools
  • Implement and execute restaurant-level financial controls including petty cash, payroll, deposits, and reports
  • Manage supply ordering and inventory control
  • Resolve customer complaints tactfully
  • Appraise subordinate performance to recognize job performance
  • Prepare sales and expense projections for profit objectives
  • Exercise sound managerial judgment on employee relations including evaluations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
  • Complete and maintain internal records and reports as required
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other assigned duties
