Delaware North is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join the dynamic team at J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard Taproom and Restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This full-time role offers an anticipated annual base salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, accompanied by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a sales incentive plan tailored to the role. The Executive Sous Chef will play a pivotal leadership role in managing high-volume kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish served meets the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and food presentation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Computer literacy in Word and Excel
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
- Ability to obtain necessary food safety certifications
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary management experience in a high-volume food and beverage operation
- Strong skills in food presentation, cooking techniques, and recipe adherence
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams
- Knowledge of food and labor cost management, menu development, and inventory control
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- Flexible schedule availability
Job Duties
