Job Description

Raising Cane's is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain specializing in quality chicken finger meals. Known for its simple menu, friendly customer service, and a vibrant work environment, Raising Cane's has established itself as a popular dining destination across multiple locations. The company places a strong emphasis on creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere for both customers and employees. Focusing on teamwork, excellent communication, and genuine care, Raising Cane's has crafted a culture that empowers its team members to grow both professionally and personally. The company values the hard work of its employees and invests in their development through ongoing training and career advancement opportunities. As a team-oriented restaurant, Raising Cane's thrives by encouraging authenticity, responsibility, and enthusiasm in its staff to deliver top-tier service consistently.

The role of a Restaurant Crewmember at Raising Cane's is a dynamic and essential position within the restaurant’s operational framework. This entry-level opportunity is designed for individuals enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and willing to wear many hats throughout their shifts – whether opening, closing, or any shift in between. Starting pay is competitive at $12.50 per hour, with potential pay increases up to an additional $1.50 per hour within the first year based on training, certifications, and performance. This job is versatile and suits applicants coming from various backgrounds, including those with previous experience in customer service, retail, cash handling, or food service, as well as those new to the restaurant industry. Raising Cane's provides paid training sessions to prepare new crew members effectively for their roles, ensuring they have all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.

Crewmembers at Raising Cane's embody a set of core qualities that make them invaluable to the team: strong team players, excellent communicators, and individuals who maintain a happy, courteous, and enthusiastic demeanor while working. They are hardworking, attentive, dependable, authentic, and take pride in their work. Duties span across taking customer orders, handling payments efficiently, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant. This role demands both intellectual and physical capabilities, including lifting heavy objects, bending, twisting, and the ability to work on one's feet for extended periods. Aligning with Raising Cane's culture means balancing hard work with the enjoyment of the job and workplace camaraderie.

Raising Cane's is not just a workplace; it is a community that supports career growth, offers flexible work schedules, and provides an engaging environment that values employees' contributions. Those joining the team can expect access to comprehensive benefits for hourly crew members such as voluntary insurance options, gym memberships, 401(k) plans with employer match, financial planning assistance, educational aid, and even pet insurance. Additional perks include paid time off, closure on major holidays at many locations, casual work attire, and employee discount programs to enhance work-life balance and job satisfaction. Candidates must be at least 16 years old to apply, bringing a strong work ethic, initiative, and determination to contribute positively to the restaurant’s success and uphold Raising Cane’s values.
