Known for its commitment to quality food and excellent customer service, Raising Cane's has grown into a beloved brand across multiple locations. The company prides itself on fostering a friendly and dynamic work environment where team members can thrive while serving delicious meals to their community. As a restaurant that values both hard work and fun, Raising Cane's offers an inclusive workplace that encourages personal growth and development. The role in question is for a Restaurant Crewmember, an entry-level position central to the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Starting pay for this role is $12.00 per hour, with competitive benefits offered to all team members. This position is ideal for individuals seeking employment in the food service industry, whether they have previous experience or are looking to start their career in a rewarding and supportive environment.
The Restaurant Crewmember at Raising Cane's wears many hats, from taking orders and preparing food to cleaning and maintaining restaurant areas. This role requires versatility as team members work various shifts such as opening, closing, and everything in between. Whether you have experience as a customer service associate, retail team member, cashier, restaurant server, cook, or prep cook, Raising Cane's provides opportunities for you to utilize your skills and develop new ones. Even candidates without prior restaurant experience are encouraged to apply, as the company offers paid training that prepares every new hire for success and career growth within the restaurant. Within the first year of employment, crewmembers can earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour based on training completion, certifications, and performance evaluations.
Qualities that make an outstanding Raising Cane's Restaurant Crewmember include teamwork, excellent communication, enthusiasm, dependability, and a genuine pride in doing a good job. The company emphasizes authenticity and responsibility in its employees and values those who bring positive energy to the workplace. Beyond just work, Raising Cane's offers a range of benefits such as voluntary insurance options including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, legal support, and identity theft protection. Additionally, employees can access a gym membership program, 401(k) plan with a company match for those 21 and older, financial advisor services, assistance programs, education aid, and pet insurance.
Raising Cane’s also offers perks and rewards including paid time off (with eligibility requirements), closures on major holidays (location-dependent), early closure for company events, casual work attire, flexible scheduling, and an employee discount program. The essential functions of the job require physical stamina such as lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and maintaining excellent communication skills. Crewmembers must manage high-paced work environments efficiently while delivering friendly and fast service to customers. The company seeks team players who are proactive, comply with company policies, and embody the spirit of working hard and having fun. Raising Cane’s is an equal opportunity employer that values individuality and diversity in the workplace.
