As a Team Member at Wonder, your role is vital in bringing the innovative concept to life. You will play an essential part in creating an inviting and positive atmosphere for all guests while preparing menu items that meet Wonder's exceptionally high standards. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities at our Salem location, with a competitive pay rate starting at $17.50 per hour. Additionally, overnight shifts feature a $2.00 per hour premium for hours worked between midnight and 5:00 AM. The company also provides opportunities to earn extra through certifications, with certified Team Members receiving an additional $0.50 per hour and Trainers earning an extra $1.50 per hour. The Team Member role encompasses a wide range of duties that keep Wonder’s operations smooth and guests satisfied. Your daily tasks will include preparing menu items to Wonder's exact standards while keeping your work stations clean, stocked, and well-organized. You will adhere closely to HACCP and all food-safety regulations, making sure items are stored and cooked at appropriate temperatures to guarantee safety and quality. Inventory management, accurate portion control, and ensuring each order is complete before it leaves the kitchen will also be part of your responsibilities. Delivering outstanding hospitality includes greeting guests warmly, assisting with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app, as well as supporting meal-kit and delivery operations. You'll engage in light local marketing activities such as distributing flyers and engaging with the community, helping to promote Wonder’s unique dining experience.

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas will be crucial, with tasks including washing and restocking cookware, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift, as well as proper trash and recycling management. You will work closely with teammates, jumping in wherever needed to maintain a positive and energetic workplace that supports team success. Additional duties as assigned will help you develop a broad skill set in hospitality and food service.
