Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cooking or kitchen roles beneficial
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work full time or part time
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, or sous chef
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Ability to prepare food under time constraints
  • Basic understanding of recipe reading and measurement
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to menu recipes and dietary restrictions
  • Ensure food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
  • Monitor kitchen stock and supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Follow proper health, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures in the kitchen
  • Manage multiple cooking tasks and meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth food service
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
