Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • ServSafe certification required within first 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of hire

  • Experience in fast casual or full service restaurant preferred
  • Experience prepping recipes preferred

Job Duties

  • Adheres to daily needs for the bistro including stocking supplies maintaining cleanliness and ensuring kitchen safety
  • Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness including sweeping mopping cleaning kitchen equipment and washing dishes
  • Manages food production flow in conjunction with sandwich and salad stations
  • Follows recipes to ensure consistency freshness and quality of ingredients while preparing food
  • Complies with food safety guidelines and maintains sanitary work environment
