Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in an upscale dining environment
  • Supervising experience managing kitchen teams or food service staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary arts and food production
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations
  • Prior experience in inventory management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Availability to work full-time in person

  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with dietary requirements and accommodating special dietary needs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and foster a positive work culture
  • Prior restaurant management experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards is essential
  • Hands-on cooking skills combined with excellent food handling practices across various cuisines

Job Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences
  • Supervise kitchen staff including cooks, sous chefs, and food prep teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
  • Oversee all aspects of food production ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
  • Manage inventory control including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and maintaining accurate stock levels for ingredients and other materials
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
  • Coordinate with management for special private events
  • Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of service
  • Implement training programs for staff on food preparation techniques, hygiene practices, and customer service excellence
  • Monitor kitchen performance metrics and continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
