The role of the Restaurant Assistant Manager at Calle Sol Latin Cafe & Cevicheria is a critical leadership position responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing all operational aspects of the restaurant. This full-time position offers competitive compensation based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that values management team members. The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, enhancing guest satisfaction, maintaining profitability, and ensuring compliance with the company’s standards and local health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with at least two years of floor management experience in a high-volume restaurant setting and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities include cultivating a positive and motivated work environment by leading and inspiring the team, collaborating on budgeting and financial planning, managing schedules, hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment is paramount, with a keen focus on food handling practices, health safety standards, and restaurant maintenance. The Assistant Manager also acts as a liaison between the restaurant and its vendors and community partners to ensure smooth operations and adherence to local sourcing standards. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to address guest concerns with utmost professionalism to foster guest loyalty.

- 2+ years of floor management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- ability to work as a team
