Job Requirements

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • Knowledge of operational procedures in food and beverage
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Strong communication and motivational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in upscale or branded hotel or restaurant environments preferred

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in upscale or brand-specific hotel environments

Job Duties

  • Reports to the Restaurant General Manager and supports daily restaurant operations
  • Oversees and ensures proper training of all food and beverage personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines
  • Monitors communications, morale, and motivation of the food and beverage staff
  • Ensures food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs align with budget
  • Oversees food and beverage operations during meal periods ensuring service standards are met
  • Assists in issuing accurate weekly forecasts for planning and scheduling
  • Performs other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager
