The Lobby Ambassador serves as the welcoming face of Marriott Vacations Worldwide, responsible for greeting guests warmly and providing them with personalized assistance throughout their visit. You will utilize specialized tools to screen targeted customers and connect them with Marketing Executives, ensuring guests receive timely and relevant information tailored to their needs. Your friendliness and professionalism will help guide Owners and guests with directions and details about property amenities, services, hours of operation, as well as local points of interest and activities.
In this role, you will ensure that the lobby area is properly covered and that guest interactions are maximized during peak arrival periods. Promoting awareness of the Marriott Vacations Worldwide brand both internally among colleagues and externally to guests is also a vital component of your duties. Additionally, you will assist in implementing marketing strategies to boost site volume and contribute to the company’s overall marketing efforts.
Maintaining a well-stocked lobby with necessary supplies and promotional materials is part of your responsibilities, which helps create a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. You will work closely with your team to uphold high standards of customer service, safety, and company policies. As a team member, you are expected to interact professionally and promptly with both guests and colleagues, contributing to team goals and fostering a cooperative work environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or sales experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background and drug screening in accordance with state and local regulations
- Physical capability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Motivated and enthusiastic about guest interaction
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests and utilize tools to screen targeted customers and connect them to a Marketing Executive
- Supply Owners and guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
- Ensure proper coverage and execution throughout the lobby as directed and maximize interactions during peak arrival periods
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
- Assist with additional strategies to drive marketing efforts and site volume
- Take inventories and ensure all desks in the lobby are stocked with appropriate levels of supplies and collateral
- Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs
