Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a hospitality or food service role preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good communication skills
  • physically able to lift and move objects as required
  • familiarity with point of sale systems

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills: able to speak English and interact with customers and co-workers
  • previous experience in a similar role is preferred, preferably in a food service establishment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • computer proficiency to use the resort's point of sale system
  • physically able to lift equipment, trays with food, and move tables and chairs

Job Duties

  • Maintain work areas clean and organized
  • maintain cleanliness of work area
  • report all unsafe conditions immediately
  • set and clear tables according to standards
  • stock areas with linen, glassware and silver
  • prepare and create beverages including coffee drinks
  • complete all opening and closing side work, including stocking plates, silverware, filling coffee grinder, filling wine buckets, cleaning floor, wiping down booths and chairs, moving tables and chairs, pushing dirty linen to storage area, putting away china, setting out and lighting candles
  • stock bus station as assigned
  • monitor grab-n-go items and assist with restocking
  • operate and use pizza oven to deliver exceptional food to guests
  • operate and use turbo chef to heat food
  • attend required meetings
  • communicate with manager before leaving shift
  • vacuum carpet at end of day
  • mop floors
  • complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training
  • seat guests
