Job Description
Flatiron Build Co is a dynamic and fast-growing residential remodeling company, originally established in Denver and now expanding its proven systems into Orange County, California. Specializing in high-end residential remodeling, the company covers a wide spectrum of projects including kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, light structural work, and small additions. Flatiron Build Co is recognized for its innovative approach that combines solid construction fundamentals with modern operational practices such as structured sales, precise estimating, advanced project management software, 3D design tools, and AI-supported workflows. This unique combination ensures every remodel delivers a premium customer experience that stands out in the industry.
The company is actively recruiting a growth-oriented residential remodeling operator to spearhead the launch and development of its Orange County market. Centered around Irvine and serving areas from San Clemente to Long Beach and Fullerton, this is a rare, full-time leadership opportunity with a base salary ranging from $105,000 to $120,000 along with performance-based bonuses and profit-sharing incentives. Total earnings can exceed $200,000 as the market grows and scales. The chosen candidate will work directly with the founder to build and manage the market’s subcontractor network, oversee sales consultations, estimating, and proposal development, and ensure smooth project execution with high levels of client satisfaction.
This role is designed for someone who possesses not only strong residential remodeling experience but also an entrepreneurial spirit with aspirations beyond a conventional project management position. The successful candidate will step into a proven operational model equipped with existing systems and active support from leadership, allowing them to focus on market growth and team development rather than building everything from the ground up. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through completion, using tools like JobTread or similar project management software to maintain transparency and organization.
The ideal candidate will bring a customer-focused, systems-minded approach coupled with outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple facets of the remodeling process concurrently. The role requires versatility, problem-solving acumen, and a dedication to delivering a superior client experience. The candidate must also be willing and able to participate in initial training with the Denver team to master the company’s sales process, estimating approach, project management systems, and client service standards.
Flatiron Build Co values leadership that embraces growth, technology, and operational discipline, aiming to build a team culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and customer trust. This opportunity is perfect for a residential construction professional, licensed general contractor, or experienced project manager eager to grow into a general manager/operator role, leading the market and its expansion efforts within Orange County. The company supports employee development with structured paid training, career advancement initiatives, and unique company perks including annual trips, outings, sales contests, and professional uniforms provided.
Committed to equal employment opportunities, Flatiron Build Co takes pride in fostering an inclusive work environment where all qualified applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, parental status, national origin, disability, political affiliation, military service, or any protected status. The company remains focused on hiring individuals who can contribute to building its brand and market presence in Southern California with integrity, innovation, and customer-first leadership.
