Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • three or more years of dining administrative experience
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple priorities on time
  • effective communication skills with employees and customers
  • strong time management skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects and stressful situations positively
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods
  • ability to work on-site
  • availability to report during emergencies
  • manual dexterity
  • ability to see, hear, reach, climb, and balance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • three or more years of dining administrative experience
  • strong interpersonal skills

  • leadership and people management skills
  • ability to conduct and lead meetings
  • computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • knowledge of residential college system preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide management oversight of residential dining operations
  • manage, direct, plan, organize, and supervise dining staff
  • collaborate with the executive chef to meet financial objectives
  • serve as liaison between the department and students, faculty, and staff
  • deliver high-quality tenant and guest services
  • enforce safety rules and regulations and investigate incidents
  • prepare yearly staff performance appraisals
  • oversee coordination of complex events and programs
  • process financial transactions, monitor and reconcile budget statements
  • guide and train student workers including scheduling and workload management
  • perform human resources transactional support
  • conduct vendor/service partner performance tracking
