The position of Resident Support Center Clerk, also known as Call Center Clerk, plays an essential role in upholding the service excellence that The Village at Gainesville is known for. This full-time role, requiring 32 hours per week with alternate weekend shifts and holiday rotations, centers around being the primary point of contact for resident inquiries and needs through phone and in-person communication. Reporting directly to the Director of Resident Services, this role requires delivering respectful, kind, and informative customer support. The Clerk acts as a central liaison assisting various departments across the Village to provide timely and resourceful solutions to residents. Tasks include welcoming visitors and residents, managing transportation schedules, processing dining requests, inputting work orders, and maintaining a professional and organized call center environment.
Additionally, the position demands a high level of multitasking and excellent communication skills, excellent typing and word processing proficiency, and the ability to utilize multiple software platforms such as Worxhub and Retail Tracker for work orders and service requests. The candidate must demonstrate problem-solving skills and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision, embracing a courteous and helpful attitude while attending to resident concerns. Moreover, the role includes coverage duties at the Concierge Front Desk and requires adherence to emergency response protocols during campus emergencies like hurricanes and power outages. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcomes visitors and or residents, answers questions, handles inquiries and transfers or refers to proper departments
- answers telephone in a respectful and kind manner
- schedules transportation appointments for residents and reserves seat for special off campus events
- signs up residents using Touch Town to assist Life Enrichment
- inputs work orders for EVS, IT, and Maintenance based on resident service requests
- inputs dining orders, reservations, and food delivery requests into the proper system and confirms with the Dining department
- follows up with residents, department heads, and staff to ensure customer satisfaction and provide proper information
- performs filing, sorting, and other clerical duties as necessary
- creates and maintains a professional office environment at the call center and office area
- trains and provides coverage for the Concierge Front Desk on weekdays or weekends
- maintains workstation and equipment in a safe and organized manner
- uses company provided script during campus emergencies to answer resident calls and concerns
- reports any concerning resident behavior to the Resident Services Director
- completes all in-service and Relias training and education sessions by assigned due date
