Job Description

As a respected entity in the multifamily housing industry, Garden Communities focuses on innovative design, exceptional service, and quality living spaces across its properties. The company prides itself on fostering strong relationships with residents, providing excellent customer care, and maintaining properties with high standards. With a reputation for integrity and professionalism, Garden Communities endeavors to create sustainable and enjoyable communities that residents are proud to call home.

The Resident Services Coordinator role at Garden Communities is central to its mission of delivering outstanding customer service to residents and prospective clients. This position, based in the leasing office, is the primary point of contact for resident needs, providing assistance and guidance with professionalism and care. The Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring residents are informed about community services, events, and operating procedures. Responsibilities include planning and executing resident functions, coordinating building operations among various departments such as recreation, retail, and office staff, and handling inquiries from both current and prospective residents.

This role demands a proactive individual who can manage multiple phone lines, work effectively under pressure, and balance a variety of tasks to maintain smooth community operations. The Resident Services Coordinator also supports leasing functions by backing up lease units, conducting property tours, and assisting in general office activities. Networking with neighboring businesses to enhance marketing opportunities is also part of this position, which contributes to the dynamic and engaging atmosphere of Garden Communities properties.

A successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic professional with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. They must be adaptable in fast-paced environments, manage conflict constructively, and demonstrate respect for a diverse community. Leadership capabilities and effective people management skills, despite the non-supervisory nature of this specific role, are important as they contribute significantly to the community’s overall experience.

Garden Communities offers a competitive pay range of $22.39 to $28.09 per hour for this position, highlighting its commitment to valuing the expertise and dedication of its staff. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to supporting veterans and individuals with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive workplace. The Resident Services Coordinator position also requires occasional travel within the Southern California region and Arizona, attending to various community and operational needs. This role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 15 pounds and using standard office equipment regularly.

Overall, this position is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement, customer service excellence, and property management operations.
