Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Resident Service Coordinator to join our team at the Suntree apartment community, a welcoming and vibrant affordable housing community committed to improving the lives of its residents. Our community prides itself on fostering a supportive environment where residents feel valued and empowered, and every team member plays a pivotal role in ensuring this mission is met. The Suntree community is part of the broader effort to provide stable, affordable housing accompanied by comprehensive resident services aimed at addressing and supporting the varied needs of our diverse population.

The Resident Service Coordinator (RSC) position is an essential role focused on enhancing residents' quality of life by coordinating, facilitating, and providing tailored services that meet their social, psychological, and basic living needs. This full-time role demands a motivated, resourceful individual who is not only sensitive to the unique circumstances of residents but also proactive in identifying and responding to their needs. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills while also thriving in independent tasks that require initiative and problem-solving.

As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will manage a range of responsibilities, including resident case management, programming and engagement, support for basic needs, and administrative duties. Your primary goal will be to build strong, trusting relationships with residents and community partners to create a supportive network that encourages resident stability and engagement. Detailed case management will involve conducting intake assessments, developing individualized service plans, and ensuring consistent follow-up on lease compliance and other resident concerns. You will also play a critical role in developing and implementing programs that enhance residents' social involvement and wellbeing, working closely with property management and community organizations.

We value someone who can effectively collect and analyze data to measure the success of resident services and programs, ensuring continual improvement. Beyond providing referrals, the RSC may occasionally deliver direct services where external resources are unavailable. Furthermore, this role demands maintaining and establishing community partnerships that assist in critical areas like food access, rental and utility assistance, and eviction prevention. You will also handle budget management related to tenant relations and training expenses and maintain clear, timely records and reports.

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by supporting their stability, self-sufficiency, and overall quality of life within a well-structured and supportive affordable housing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background and experience in social service delivery, a passion for community engagement, and the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of resident needs with compassion and professionalism.
