Job Description

E80 Group is a prominent multinational company that specializes in the development of automated and integrated intralogistics solutions primarily for manufacturers of consumer goods. With a strong presence in several sectors including beverage, food, tissue, and other industries, E80 Group provides cutting-edge technologies designed to optimize manufacturing processes and logistics. The company produces a wide range of innovative systems such as palletizing robots, laser-guided vehicles, robotic stretch wrappers, labelers, and automated high-density warehouses. These advanced systems are aimed at increasing efficiency and reliability in production and logistics operations.

Central to E80 Group's offerings is the SM.I.LE80 software platform, which stands for Smart Integrated Logistics. This platform plays a vital role in managing the entire logistics flow within manufacturing facilities. It integrates various systems and operations seamlessly, ensuring smooth management from the entry of raw materials through storage to the shipping of finished products. The platform not only supports operational efficiency but also enhances coordination among different processes and stakeholders.

With 14 branches worldwide, E80 Group embraces core values such as Ethics, Courage, Humility, and Safety. These principles form the foundation of the company’s corporate culture and guide its interaction with customers, employees, and local communities. The organization commits itself to building lasting relationships based on trust and shared goals, and it fosters an inclusive and empowering work environment.

The Resident Reliability Engineer is a key role within the E80 Group, focusing on ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through the maintenance, operation, and support of E80 systems installed at customer plants. This position entails a blend of hands-on technical work and supervisory duties, with approximately 80% of the role spent working directly on the equipment and 20% dedicated to coordinating with internal teams and customer personnel. Resident Reliability Engineers are typically assigned to specific customer plants or clusters of plants, working closely with client maintenance and operation teams as well as E80’s cross-functional teams.

The engineer is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and uptime by performing scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and addressing failures with rapid corrective actions. In addition to hands-on technical tasks, this role demands effective communication and coordination skills to manage interactions across multiple teams, handle spare parts supply, document maintenance activities, and report system performance. Resident Reliability Engineers serve as critical interfaces between the customer and E80 corporate teams to facilitate problem-solving, operational continuity, and improvements.

This role also emphasizes training and development, as the engineer is expected to deliver on-the-job training to customer staff, maintaining training records to ensure knowledge transfer and skill enhancement. In addition, Resident Reliability Engineers are encouraged to identify improvements, system modifications, and potential extensions in collaboration with their managers and area leadership.

Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position offers a compensation range of $35 to $42 per hour based on experience (FLSA non-exempt). Beyond competitive pay, E80 Group supports its employees with a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, paid time off, and a 401(k) matching program. The company promotes career growth through ongoing training and a culture of talent development supported by initiatives like the E80 World Academy.
