Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in community engagement or senior services preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • basic computer skills for calendar and event management
  • physical ability to assist with event setup and community activities
  • valid driver’s license for community vehicle use if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with seniors or in a community engagement role preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to plan and organize events
  • compassionate and energetic personality
  • valid driver’s license if required for community vehicle use

Job Duties

  • Utilizes a person-centered approach starting with positive perceptions of aging while building relationships and connections amongst residents
  • Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents based on residents’ shared interests
  • Collaborates with community leadership team to plan coordinate and execute special events at the community including but not limited to holiday family educational and other marketing events
  • Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community which may include driving a community vehicle
