Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • enrolled student at Orange Coast College
  • minimum 6 units at Orange Coast College
  • semester GPA of 2.3 or higher
  • cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • excellent customer service skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • timely and detail oriented
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • availability to work up to thirty hours per week including weekends
  • ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Core Values

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • welcome students and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone
  • answer questions or refer inquiries appropriately
  • cover admin desk during scheduled shifts
  • maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • assist with resident programs
  • cover on-call schedule to support residents during after-hour needs
  • contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related administrative results as needed
  • answer phones and emails and provide customer service to residents
  • manage the lockout/key system for residents
  • participate in Cardinal U as required
