The role of Reservation Manager Agent at U-Haul is a dynamic, customer-facing position based at the Tacoma, Washington location. This role offers an hourly wage range of $20.00 to $22.00 and involves working under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager to facilitate the efficient placement and reservation of equipment. The Reservation Manager Agent plays a key role in supporting customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships by managing reservation calls, coordinating equipment distribution, and ensuring that inventory levels are balanced across regional markets to meet fluctuating demand. This job requires a proactive, organized individual skilled in multitasking and customer service, as each day presents new challenges within a fast-paced environment. The ability to use office equipment such as multiline phones and software tools like email and Word is essential.

Additionally, Reservation Manager Agents contribute to the strategic review of reports that drive equipment availability and accuracy, ensuring customers receive reliable service. Job Duties

  • assist with calls from and to customers
  • help support field team members and u-haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement
  • direct incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to balance regional market inventory levels
  • review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts
  • assist with the company's u-box portable storage product
